Request Support

If you’d like to request support from CMHIS or a bi-regional Hub, please review the following information and guidelines.

What we provide

CMHIS and our bi-regional Hubs provide hands-on consultation and coaching to help you and your team navigate roadblocks in preparing for, implementing, and sustaining effective prevention, treatment, and recovery programs and services. We respect what you have already tries, what has and hasn't worked, and the constraints you are under. Our services are free.

We offer support on how to do the following (click here for more information on each of our core topics):

  • Engaging the community and assessing their mental health needs

  • Identifying factors that influence implementation

  • Deciding what support is needed to implement a new practice

  • Using clinical progress to guide treatment

  • Marketing programs and services

  • Using data to improve service delivery

  • Evaluating program outcomes

  • Sustaining service delivery

Who is eligible to receive support

  • Organizations that oversee or directly provide mental health services
  • Grantees funded by SAMHSA’s Center for Mental Health Services (service, capacity building, and technical assistance recipients)

What we cannot provide

  • Training on specific evidence-based practices.
  • Aid in obtaining specific grants or funding to support your organization/a specific project.
  • Direction or advice on an individual’s mental health. If this is a mental health emergency, call 988. If you are looking for a treatment facility or have questions about substance use and/or mental health challenges, use the Get Help contacts at the bottom of the webpage.
