Beyond the Numbers: Data Storytelling for Continuous Quality Improvement

Learn more about practical approaches for demonstrating program impact by combining quantitative data, qualitative insights, and partner/community input. Participants will explore how to use data not only for reporting, but also to communicate results in a way that supports shared decision-making and continuous quality improvement (CQI). The session will highlight simple strategies for aligning data collection with program goals and translating findings into clear, action-oriented messages for different audiences. Learning Objectives By the end of the learning session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how quantitative and qualitative data can be combined to communicate a fuller picture of program impact.
  • Apply a basic data storytelling structure to frame findings in accessible and decision-relevant ways.
  • Identify practical methods for aligning data collection with program objectives and CQI priorities.


Certificate of Completion Instructions

Step 3: Generate and download your certificate On the right-hand side of this page, locate the “Certificate” button. Click the “Certificate” button to generate your certificate. Once generated, you may view, download, or save it for your records.
