Design with a Purpose is a one-part national learning session that provides beginner-friendly strategies for creating clear, and effective communication materials.
This session is designed for behavioral health providers, leaders, peer organizations, and community partners who want practical design tools they can apply right away. Participants will learn how to create materials that strengthen understanding, build trust, and inspire action — without needing formal design training or in-house communications support.
Behavioral health organizations are often responsible for sharing complex information about programs and services, yet many teams do not have access to dedicated communications or graphic design staff. As a result, important messages can become unclear, overwhelming, or difficult to access.
This learning session will help close that gap by offering simple, usable strategies for improving clarity, accessibility, and visual engagement. When information is easier to understand and more thoughtfully designed, organizations can extend their reach, promote equity, and connect more meaningfully with the communities they serve.
