Workforce conditions and organizational readiness are critical factors influencing the successful implementation and continuity of mental health services. Drawing on national research and field experience from crisis recovery and workforce initiatives, this session introduces the concept of grief readiness as an organizational approach that helps agencies maintain stability during periods of loss, crisis, and high stress. Participants will examine how unaddressed grief and cumulative loss can affect workforce functioning, implementation conditions, and service delivery, and will explore practical leadership and supervision strategies that strengthen organizational readiness while supporting staff.
