Growing Sustainable Behavioral Health Programs: Harvesting Tools for Planning and Action

Date: September 30 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am CDT

Have just 30–60 minutes? Plant the seeds for long-term success by joining Sherrie Watkins, LCSW each Tuesday in September as she branches out into a different CMHIS Sustainability Resource—designed to help your behavioral health programs become deeply rooted and resilient. Join us for one or all four!

Each session includes:

  • A spotlight on one sustainability resource to help your program take root and grow
  • A brief consultation or “watering session” for any questions you bring
  • A quick intro to the Midwest Hub—your ecosystem of support
  • How to request technical assistance to nurture your program further

In this learning session, we will review the Program Sustainability Assessment Tool (PSAT) and Sustaining Improved Outcomes: A Toolkit. Participants will leave with concrete strategies for strengthening sustainability in their behavioral health programs.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Understand how to use the PSAT to assess sustainability readiness across factors such as funding, partnerships and communications
  2. Explore practical strategies from the Toolkit to create actional plans for long-term success
  3. Begin thinking about and drafting an action plan for applying sustainability strategies
