Growing Sustainable Behavioral Health Programs: Planting the Foundation of Sustainable Service Delivery

Date: September 9 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am CDT

Have just 30–60 minutes? Plant the seeds for long-term success by joining Sherrie Watkins, LCSW each Tuesday in September as she branches out into a different CMHIS Sustainability Resource—designed to help your behavioral health programs become deeply rooted and resilient. Join us for one or all four!

Each session includes:

  • A spotlight on one sustainability resource to help your program take root and grow
  • A brief consultation or “watering session” for any questions you bring
  • A quick intro to the Midwest Hub—your ecosystem of support
  • How to request technical assistance to nurture your program further

In this learning session, we will review the Sustaining Service Delivery Infographic. Participants will gain a shared understanding of the core principles that keep initiatives grounded and growing.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Define key terms: sustainability vs. sustainment vs. improved outcomes
  2. Understand why sustainability planning should begin early in implementation for a strong root structure
  3. Explore core factors that support long-term continuation of services

CERTIFICATES:

Registrants who fully attend this event or training will receive a certificate of attendance via email within two weeks after the event or training.
