DESCRIPTION:Are you a manager\, leader\, or supervisor of a mental health system\, organization\, or program? \nAre you able to implement changes and innovations within a system\, organization\, or program? \nAre you interested in learning how to overcome barriers in implementing new effective practices and/or sustaining practices? \nCMHIS and our five bi-regional Hubs invite you to apply to participate in a free\, innovative\, three-month learning community. This dynamic\, flexible experience will combine implementation science\, expert insights\, and peer learning. You will be empowered with actionable skills\, proven strategies\, and a network of colleagues to “grow from what works” to implement effective mental health practices and programs. \nSessions will take place every other Thursday at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET from July 17 to September 25. To be considered for this learning community\, please submit a brief application by June 20\, 2025.

The CLA has given thousands of behavioral health organizations the tools to make real changes that improve their systems of care. This interactive\, expert-led program includes four weekly 90-minute learning sessions. An optional organizational consultation is available following the four sessions. This training and consultation are offered at no cost and are supported by funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). \nTRAINING SCHEDULE: Sessions will take place on: July 9\, 16\, 23\, and 30 from 12:00-1:30 PM CST. NOTE: Participants must attend all sessions dates to receive NAADAC continuing education hours. \nLEARNING OBJECTIVES: Participants in the virtual CLA will learn: \n\nThe NIATx principles and how they motivate positive change.\nHow to build a change team and integrate NIATx principles at the organizational level.\nHow to conduct a change project to improve a specific process within their organization.\n\nCONTINUING EDUCATION: Registrants who fully attend this event or training will be eligible to receive 6 NAADAC-certified continuing education (CE) hours. CE certificates will be sent to qualified individuals via email within two weeks after the training.
