Exploring CMHIS’s Implementation Support and Core Topics With Our Priority Audiences

Author(s): CMHIS

Contributed by: CMHIS

Between December 2024 and February 2025, CMHIS held 17 discussion groups to gather information on the needs of our audiences related to the selection, implementation, and sustainment of mental health practices. In total, 107 people from 36 states and territories and 75 unique organizations participated.

The findings were mapped to CMHIS’s eight core topics and can be used to inform the design of CMHIS’s implementation support and resources. This report shares a summary of the findings from our discussion groups on:

  • Development and delivery of implementation support activities.
  • Potential collaboration opportunities with other SAMHSA-funded TA Centers.
  • Important elements, challenges, and opportunities for implementation support and resource development for each core topic.
