Kaitlin Mitchell, MSW, LCSW is a Senior Training and Consultation Specialist in the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation & Counseling Professions at Rutgers University. She earned her MSW from Fordham University and is currently pursuing her PhD in psychiatric rehabilitation at Rutgers University. Ms. Mitchell’s research interests focus on applications of positive psychology for people living with serious mental health conditions. Her work experience includes over 10 years of clinical practice in various settings including inpatient, partial hospital, outpatient, and community-based mental health programs. Ms. Mitchell also participates in a statewide performance improvement initiative targeting the acute care system for individuals in need of crisis or emergency services.
