Research Specialist, Midwest Hub

Kylie Lafayette is a research specialist in the Evaluation Research Group at the Population Health Institute. Much of her work focuses on evaluating projects that address substance use and, in particular, the challenges of providing recovery support services to Wisconsin communities. These projects have included all aspects of the continuum of care for substance use, from prevention to treatment and recovery. She also has experience evaluating programs that serve incarcerated populations and their families. Other areas of interest include mental health, adolescent health, and family studies.

Kylie completed her undergraduate degree with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with a certificate in Education and Educational Services. Her experience in research includes working for the Cognitive Development and Media Lab, headed by Dr. Heather Kirkorian.
