About the Southwestern Plains Hub

The Southwestern Plains Hub is housed within the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at the University of Texas at Austin.

We serve HHS Regions 6 and 8, which include Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. These regions are home to over 94 federally recognized tribes in the U.S.

We look forward to supporting Regions 6 and 8 in implementing effective programs and practices. Over the next few months, we’ll showcase our work and resources.
